APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS TO THE MASTER'S PROGRAM IN INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING

Industrial Engineering Master's Program With Thesis(English) 10 Quantitive (Minimum 60) 60 Graduating from one of the departments of Industrial Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Industrial Systems Engineering, Management Engineering, Systems Engineering.

 

Application Requirements for the Master's Program with Thesis

1. Having a bachelor's degree accepted by YÖK

2. To get the score requested by the Department of Graduate School (EABD) in the ALES exam*1, provided that it is not less than 60 points in the type of score prescribed by the program applied for.

3. For programs with foreign language criteria, to have obtained an equivalent score required in the announcement from a foreign language exam approved by the Interuniversity Board or from international exams (TOEFL - CPE - CAE - PTA Academic).

4. To meet the graduation requirements in the announcement.

5. Candidates who have graduated other than the undergraduate departments listed in the announcement must apply by hand.

*1 The validity period of the ALES exam is 5 years as of the date of the exam.

Evaluation of Applications for Master's Programs with Thesis

In the evaluation of success, the scores calculated by considering 50% of the ALES exam score, 20% of the undergraduate graduation grade*1 and 30% of the science exam*2*3 are ordered from the highest score to the lowest score. Candidates with a score of less than 50 out of 100 in the science exam to be held by the EABD Presidency are considered unsuccessful.

*1 Graduation grades other than the 4-point system are calculated according to the CoHE Conversion Table.

*2 The candidate who does not take the written exam is considered unsuccessful and there is no excuse for these exams.

*3 Candidates who receive less than 50 points from the written science exam are considered unsuccessful, regardless of their other scores.

* Students who apply are subject to a written science exam.

Industrial Engineering (English) PhD Program 5 65 65 Being a graduate of Industrial Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Industrial Systems Engineering, Business Engineering or Systems Engineering Master's Program with Thesis. Having a master's degree GPA of at least 75/100.

Application Requirements for the PhD

1. Having a master's degree accepted by YÖK.

2. Having a graduate GPA of at least 2.75/4.00.

3. To get the score requested by the Department of Graduate School (EABD) in the ALES exam*1, provided that it is not less than 65 points in the type of score prescribed by the program applied for.

4. For programs with foreign language criteria, to have obtained an equivalent score required in the announcement from a foreign language exam approved by the Interuniversity Board or from international exams (TOEFL - CPE - CAE - PTA Academic).

5. To meet the graduation requirements in the announcement.

6. Candidates who have graduated other than the undergraduate departments listed in the announcement must apply by hand.
